Alternatives, including "Anglocene", "Capitalocene" and "Oliganthropocene" all point to victims vs perpetrators - and we are immediately in the world of the the Karpman Drama Triangle.

"Anthropocene" though has a different character. It puts our shared humanity front and centre. We are all connected, we all have responsibility to one-another, I have to do my bit because we are my community.

This is why Social Leaders develop the skills to explore and identify the widest possible context. As a global citizen my responsibilities are to the widest context I am able to perceive.
